I don't know what happened to me, but one day all this creativity that used to flourish inside of me suddenly came to a stand still. A complete stop. And I didn't think twice about it.
To be quite honest, it probably aligned with the time that I began devoting my time and energy to relationships and work. Between the two, I had no time for things that I loved to do the most.
But i've kick started that, getting to grips with my sewing machine again (the best birthday present a girl could ask for), painting, working with clay, and now I've even started lino printing again. It's quite exciting actually — and I feel proud. Here are some of my initial passes at lino printing after years.
As you'll quickly notice, I forgot the 'First Rule of Lino Club' — reverse all letters!!!!
